11/27/2014 -- Happy Thanksgiving!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Isn't it amazing how your whole life can change in just a few weeks?

These last three weeks have been life changing.

If I didn't mention my husband much before-it is because he was working out of town.  He would leave Monday morning around 4:00 am and arrive home late on Friday night.

It was strange because since about 2007 he has worked jobs that took him out of town--either as a trucker, a welder, or some other jobs.

In Korea he was with us everyday and with the kids for a lot of hours so to come home and in a matter of a month or so he was gone again.  It was hard to adjust to again.  BUT
his job has ended and he is home with us again. Not only home, but working at his shop which is on our property so he is around again a lot!!   I LOVE IT!

But that also means I have less time to blog-so I will be hit and miss, but I will try to keep it up.

My little Man looks like a wild man in this photo
Playing at Grandma's-waiting for Our Baby to be born

We bought a 'new' car.  It is a 2002 Yukon.  Nice car with lots of space for our growing family!

AND THE BIG NEWS!  A NEW BABY!

Our Baby joined us on November 15th!  He is awesome!  Sleepy, buy awesome.

I will post the birth story in a different post so those squeamish can skip it.

anyway--that is why I have been absent the last few weeks.  We love Our Baby and I think since it is our last I am enjoying him more.  Plus I don't have obligations so it makes it easy to enjoy him more with out my mind going in 20 different directions!

11/6/2014 -- Day 3 -- Things are getting real!

We are getting closer and while I am ready to be done being prego, I am starting to get nervous about labor.  Part of me says to just get the drugs and enjoy it and part of me says to toughen up and experience it for all it is worth.

I just REALLY don't want to go into labor before heading to the Big town and I think that is what I am most nervous about.  Plus I weigh more then I have with the others and last baby was over 9 pounds, so what does that mean about this one? Especially since I (as in everything but my belly), don't look as big as I did with the last one.

My upper belly doesn't hurt at the end of the day like it did with Little Man, so it makes me think that maybe this one isn't as big, but maybe I am in better shape then last time?  Who knows!!

Today was my last DR. appointment here.  It went well.  All is fine and normal.  My Dr. is a little nervous about we waiting to travel so late, but it will all be fine.

I am a little worried just cause I don't want to go into labor while driving, but if I do I will just have to focus and pull over a lot.

I got most of the house picked up so tomorrow we can work on cleaning.  I love that my kids don't have school Fridays--they are very helpful.

I am super tired tonight so this is all I am writing.

11/5/2014 -- Day 4-- another post of not so exciting ramblings

Ever feel like you are constatnly moving, but never going anywhere?  That is me today!  I will be LUCKY if I get one thing on my to do list finished.

I have gone through all the boxes in the silo, but no luck with the nursing cover!  Looks like I will buy a yard of knit fabric tomorrow and make a quick makeshift one :(

Plus I have given up on the idea of moving the boxes from the garage into the silo---not going to happen right now.

The weather is beautiful which I am thankful for cause I couldn't get the chickens their water and had to mess with that and the sprinklers, but then again, if the weather was really bad I wouldn't have to deal with that (except the chickens).  I am just glad I am not in charge of the chickens in the winter!

One stinker of a chicken--whom I would love to get rid of, actually jumped up and pecked an egg I was holding in my hand.  I may or may not have kicked the stupid chicken---But I assume I didn't hurt it because it didn't squawk!

Little Man has been pretty good today.  I think it is because 1.  I played with him for a few minutes  2.  We went outside  3.  Other then stealing some candy I didn't know was in the car he hasn't had sugar today  4.  I have been 100% consistent!  5.  I have prayed for patience!

11/4/2014 -- Day 5 -- election day, To Do (or course), and random babbling-like always!

My To Do list is becoming bigger every day and it just makes me want to sit in front of my computer even more.

I love getting the extra hour during the Fall day light savings time, but it messes us all up.

I have one of my nieces today--so hopefully I can get some stuff done.  I seem to be a little more productive when  I have other people around.

Seriously one week + one day left! UGG!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

We live in a small town and normally have about 50-60 trick or treaters.  Last night we only had 20!!  I have so much candy left over!  Glad none of it is Halloween specific-(Christmas stockings)

The crazy thing is, it was Friday AND warmer than normal?  I thought we would have a lot more because of that, but nope.  My kids had a great time and I am SO thankful for Aunt Pam and Angela for taking the kids around! They had so much fun.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

As you can see (yesterday) we had a full day. We picked up Jay and went to the art show. I bought some dish clothes from my 94 year old friend and we watched a glass worker for a while.  We headed to the grocery store for a few things (more candy, which was overkill now!).  At the grocery store the workers dressed up and one guy looked like he was trapped in a cage by a skeleton. It was awesome and the kids really liked it.  He was about 8 feet tall with the costume on so he drew a lot of attention.

After we went to the Big Rigs and more event--They had a few police cars, a fire truck, an ambulance, a big rig, a fueling truck, and a few other things.  They gave free balloons and a extendable backhoe thing where they lifted the kids in a big bucket really high--I will try to post pictures soon.

We then went to Pizza Hut-Bad experience, waited over an hour, got orders wrong and over all not a happy time.

My crew had to leave early so we could get to my Dr. Appointment. Everything is still great and baby is head down, so we are still good to go.

We met Pam and her kids at the park and played for about an hour and headed home to relax, make mummy dogs, and head out trick or treating. Over all (and other than a few grumpy moments with Wheeler and me) we had a good and successful day.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanksgiving Thoughts (I am going to try to add 5 things I am thankful for everyday for the next week)

1  A husband who is AMAZING!
2  Awesome kids (who put up with my mood swings)
3  Indoor plumbing
4  the smells, sights, and sounds of FALL!
5  Chocolate Chip Cookies

10/31/2014 -- Day 8 -- Daily to do & Short Journal

My husband asked me why I even do a blog if no one reads it.  The answer is I am terrible at writing in a journal, but a blog I can do.  Since the blog ends up being my journal (with out bearing my whole soul) I think I am one step closer to keeping a journal.  I think once a week I should write a private blog just for me that is more deep and tells more personal stuff.
